Superweaning

Little Dude's pacifier got left at the hotel in Utah yesterday, so Foxy and I have decided that this is a good time for him to give it up, cold turkey. Meanwhile, we're in the process of transitioning him from formula to milk, and from bottles to sippy cups. Throw in the fact that he spent the last several days traveling, then spent the night away from Mommy (with me), and you've got one unhappy camper.

But we love him anyway.

YIKES, poor punkin!! I agree that's a big adjustment all at once for a little one. I'd maybe let the poor guy have SOMETHING! LOL... because I'm weak....

.

The real question is whether he loves you anyway.

Oh maaaaaaaaaaan...may the force be with you.

Once I had the pediatrician and pediatric dentist tell me the pacifier was only a real issue after loads of years (I want to say 5) I quit caring.

And my only kid who has weird teeth? The one who never took it. Flocking genetics......

Th took the words right out of my mouth!

So I'll just say, 'Whatever happened to the 'line-upon-line, precept-upon-precept theory?' That might apply here - for your sakes as well as his! :)

Yeah, I think we've decided to let him keep the bottle for now, as it's the sippy cup he objects to more than the milk.
