A Good Night's Sleep

Makes the world a better place.

Last night I was considering quitting both my jobs and checking into a mental institution because no matter how hard I looked I couldn't find an article about how reading and writing create an ongoing academic conversation, which I really need for tomorrow (and I'm positive such a thing exists, somewhere). This morning I'm only mildly stressed. If I don't find something I can use today I will only quit my teaching job, withdraw my PhD applications, and refuse to speak English for three years.

Donations are being accepted in the comments section.

Crap crap crap . . . I know I've read an article about this. But I don't remember when or where. I'm tempted to say it was during my How to Be an English 115 Teacher course from hell. If that's the case, I'm tempted to say it was in Crosstalk in Comp Theory by Villanueva. I am likely wrong however. And right now I'm at work, so I can't even check into it for you.

Color me useless. Or as Word Verification would say, taqsjg.

Break into my house, steal Crosstalk. Please.

And do I know you, ekb? Because I think this is the first year they've used that evil, evil book.

I'm also wondering if I have something electronically. Going to look into it. Email me or call me or something.

editorgirl: I don't think we know each other (Master Fob can confirm or deny based on his knowledge). We used that book eons ago (fall '99). I'm sorry that it's reared its ugly head again.

Monetarily, I can only donate the thirty-six cents I found in various pockets while doing laundrey at four a.m., but if you'd like me to write such an article, no doubt I could fake a few thouisand words.
