Hang Out With All The Boys

If ever I am asked to choose the opening song for a priesthood meeting, I will choose "YMCA."

um...that's NOT a Hymn.

I have, on more than one occasion, made the Relief Society sing Ye Elders of Israel.

It's much more rockandroll than As Sisters in Zion.

Will you have everyone do the "Y-M-C-A" actions that go with it?

We do that in our meetings sometimes. Our ward "hosts" the deaf group. But we haven't yet done "YMCA".

"Young Men's" "Christian Association"

That brings back memories. I have used the acronym for so long that I forgot until now what the actual name of the organization was.

Thank you for the post!!!

We sing that all the time as the opening song in Young Women (complete with actions)--at least I think that's what it is...all the young women are tone deaf...their piano playing is horrifying...I was just sure that's what we were singing...do you suppose I've been singing the wrong song?...I though we were supposed to immitate the arm actions of the young woman standing in front when we sang...wow...I should ask someone about this before Sunday...

p.s. I have to keep deleting my comments because of typos. Maybe I should start previwing before I publish.
