Sick

Between two jobs without paid sick leave and two classes that only meet sixteen times during the quarter, I can't afford to be. I wish I could curl up under the covers and read all day, drifting in and out of consciousness until I feel better. Sigh.

*1000mg of Vit C every hour (drink a ton of water, it is pretty abrasive to your stomach, but works like crazy)or 1000mg 3 times a day at the very least while you are ill.

*Echinacea & Goldenseal. Find a pill with both in it and knock back 3 pills, 3 times a day while you are ill.

Start all of these the instant you think you might be getting a cold or something- don't wait until you are full on sick. If you do this, I can almost guarantee that you will be well in 3 days or less.

These supplements should be taken by the normal suggested dosage on the bottles daily when not ill, especially through the winter with a schedule like yours!!
