"If you don't mind being unhappy, then what happens to the unhappiness?"

Eckhart Tolle has a few wacky ideas, but a lot of what he says makes a lot of sense.

If you like that kind of malarkey you'd probably like Byron Katie too. Her book, "A Thousand Names For Joy" is really insightful. She kind of reinforces that if you embrace the suckiness and don't give it a foot hold in your emotional patterns, it goes away as an issue.

I still have a long way to go with all that. It's totally easier said than done. I think my favorite thing that Tolle has ever said was that if you think you're Enlightened, try spending a weekend with your parents.

I do like Byron Katie too. Foxy and I listened to one of her books about relationships last year and enjoyed it quite a bit.
