Finish Line in Sight

Today I attended my Last Class Forever And Ever Until The End Of Time and then I went to the student union building to pick up my cap and gown--which after next weekend will hang in my closet Forever And Ever Until The End Of Time because they made me buy them instead of renting, as I did the last two times I graduated. In the next day or two I need to finish up one last small assignment, and then next Wednesday I will take a final and be done with school Forever And Ever Until The End Of Time .

P.S. Graduation is next week Friday (school convocation) and Saturday (general procession). I accept gifts in the form of cash, check, money order, or Amazon.com gift certificates. iTunes gift cards are also cool.

Congratulations!!!! I'm a long time lurker whose is just finishing my first year in the distance program at the I-School. I came out of lurkdom just to say that I'm thrilled for you. I've been waiting for you to announce your graduation, just so I could know that people do eventually graduate from the program. Thanks for giving me hope and enjoy wearing that cap and gown for ever and ever.

Horray for no more school forever and ever until the end of time. That is such a happy place to be! Now you must go get your wife to convert to such an idea =)

Congrats! Though you know, I thought I was done with school, too. "Never again," I said. But now I work at a university, and the tuition's free for two classes a semester . . . suddenly that never again has turned into "not for a few more years. Or months."

Abe: I'll keep the Halloween costume possibility in mind. Might as well get my money's worth out of the thing.

Stephanie (guessing from your profile and blogs that you're the latter half of "John and Stephanie"): Thanks for delurking! Yes, have hope, there is an end.

Julie: I'm sure I will. It might take me four years, but I'll convince her.

Bryce: Yeah, I have to admit I've thought before of taking random courses if the opportunity arises. But the important thing is I'll never enroll in another degree program. Ever.

Mr.: Yes, I am always right.

Congratulations Ben!

We have used our old graduation gowns as cotumes too- a few times as a judge, and one time for a song from Sister Act II (trying to look like a gospel choir).

So are you sure there is no more school after this?
