Dear Senator McCain,

Your most recent campaign ploy, obviously done with the specific intention of getting my vote, is quite clever. I have to admit, having your daughter reveal that you are a fan of Lauryn Hill does tempt me to come over to the dark side, but ultimately I still find you even more weird than Mitt Romney and only slightly less creepy than Mike Huckabee.

I remain an Obama Boy.

Sincerely,

Mr. Fob

"I know he's not as sexy as Obama and interesting and young and fresh," she said. "But I definitely still think he has an appeal. It's not important to him [to be sexy]. I think Obama's cute, so ... I see why people are, just on a very superficial level, drawn to him."

I think, Mr. Fob, she’s calling you superficial if you don’t fall for the Lauryn Hill ploy. I’d not let that stand.

As much as I have to admit that musical taste is a more valid reason than sex appeal to choose the leader of the free world, I'm just going to have to accept my superficiality on this one.

But Meghan feels that it's [sic] her father who hits the right notes when it comes to the youth and that, ultimately, he resonates more with that voting bloc than his opponents do.

Maybe when compared to some of the other Republicans, (Romney/Huckabee). If those are who she is referring to as "opponents".

"His issues — global warming, the war — and he listens to young people and really takes an initiative," she added, "which I don't think a lot of politicians do."

Did this sentence seem totally nonsensical to anyone else?

Now that you mention it, no, it doesn't make a bit of sense.

Stand your ground, Mr Fob !

If Obama were to publicly declare his love for, say, Michael Franti & Spearhead, it would help me stand my ground.

So ask him what music he likes. I'm sure he'd love to tell you!

But what if he's into, I don't know, yodeling apes or something? I'm not sure I could support him anymore.

Or worse, Hanson?

I am staying strong with Avacado '08.

I heard Avocado was seen propositioning an apple in a fruit bar.

Vote Scot in 08!

Avocado thanks you for your support, Dolcezza. Don't listen to Scot's mudslinging. He's just trying to distract you from what he was caught doing with an entire box of raisins in a grocery store.

I may be voting for Obama, but I'm still Avocado's campaign manager.
