Weather People

I realized today that I am not a weather person. I know many people who are happy when the sun shines and sad when the rain falls. I couldn't care less if I tried. Rain or snow, sun or clouds, locusts or frogs, I will do whatever I plan on doing and will be happy about it. I believe this will be a good quality to have in Seattle.

  1. I am definitely a "weather person". I call it inverse pathetic fallacy. For this reason, Naiad and I have decided that I am not allowed to go to school in Ithaca (NY, that is, not Greece). And apparently it is genetic, or it's just a coincidence that my dad is the same way.

Is there much frog-precipitation in Seattle?

  2. Personally, I like the weather in Seattle. I think most people find that the rain is less annoying than they think it will be, and that the lack of intense heat and extreme cold is rather pleasant.

  4. I am beginning to realize that I am a weather person. Not that rain and bad weather make me unhappy, but good weather markedly improves my happiness. Ahhhh, good weather!

  5. I am a weather person. I am very happy when it rains, thus my sincere desire to go where you are going.

  6. I remember living in the state of Washington. I pulled into a gas station one day. As he was pumping the gas, the attendant said to me, "What do you think? Do you think summer will fall on a weekend this year?"

    That pretty well described it!

  7. I'm a weather person. Especially when it starts to snow mid-April. Like today. I can personally testify that it was snowing from Beaver on up. I was driving in it.
