Wednesday, April 26th. 5:30 pm. By reading this you legally and bindingly commit yourself to come.

  1. When did it move to 5:30?

  2. Oh. In my head it was always 5:30, but looking back at the original post now I realize that I didn't specify a time. What time were you planning on?

  3. By reading this you legally and bindingly commit yourself to come.

Trouble is, I have already legally and bindingly committed myself to board a magical flying machine at 1:35 pm. So, can I legally and bindingly commit my spirit to be there, while my body is being propelled eastward at approximately 500 miles per hour?

  4. I was thinking more along the 6:30/7:00 timeframe.

  5. I suppose I can forgive you this once, Skylark, but don't let it happen again.

Edgy, you may come late if you'd rather, but you might miss the limbo.

  6. I'll be over later. MUCH later.

  7. Ah crap! I have an exam from 7:00 - 10:00! How long will the partying be going on, anyway? And here I was so looking forward to getting together with everyone.

  8. Cicada--You'll have to come by either before or after your test (or both). We won't let the last people leave until you get here.

  9. I will be there. Most definatly. And can give a ride to those rideless in Provo.

  10. Master Fob, I worry about the people that you are legally and bindingly commiting to come to the Blog Party. What if somepersom comes across this page by hitting the "Next Blog" button, and that person is also in Estonia. Now they are legally bound to fly to Utah on April 26th?

Maybe you should put in some sort of clause that there have to be at least seven degrees of blogger linkage to you (like the Kevin Bacon game) to be invited, or the reader must press his nose and right thumb against their monitor and promise to come to the blog party upon reading this post (in lieu of a notary certification that the post has been read, understood, and agreed upon). :)

  11. So... do you have everybody's IP address? 'Cause you probably could blogpatrol all the IP addresses that have read this post (or most of them, anyway) and then have people check off their IP addresses when they get to the party.

Then, after the party, you could figure out who belongs to the IP addresses of anyone who doesn't show up (and, of course, this is strictly a hypothetical situation since everyone would show up and you'd have to discuss with skylark what her IP address is beforehand), and sue the people who didn't show up. For breaking a legally binding contract that they made when they read your blog. Maybe you could get enough to pay for grad school!

  12. I was wondering. Is this a formal invitation? And, if so, will you forgive me for not showing up? (I have to drive down to Santa Horhe immediately after my last final so that I can be there for yet another torcher spe-- er... Dr. appointment on the 27th.)

Sometimes I am so slow when it comes to commenting.

  13. I may be a little late, but my fiance will be rather late, as he has a final from 5 to 7 or something like that. I'm making him come anyway though.
