for a while my wife went to a local unitarian church. i went with her a couple of times. she's stopped because she didn't want to go alone.
it was okay, but didn't do much for me spiritually.
she's adamant about not returning to the local ward, though still has a calling--visiting mormons in a local hospital. a member of the bishopric actually came to our house to extend the calling.
i continue because i have more in common with these folks than i would in another church, and i think it is important to be part of a community. when i'm not at work but stay home for other reasons [e.g. conference] i just waste the time.
so that's "why i stay," which would hardly meet the sunstone standards but works for me
Good! Hang in there.
