I suppose now IS a good time to come clean and confess that I have more than once thought of you as I write the order for a fecal occult blood test (I usually abbreviate, even though you're not supposed to). I'm certain, I might add, that this association has nothing to do with the fact that these tests are ordered right after a rectal exam.
Today fecal blood tests, tomorrow the world!
